Hi, I’m Dan. I’m a Charity and Commercial Insurance Broker at Edwards Insurance Brokers, but I’m also a church pastor!

On Friday I made my debut appearance and travelled up to Manchester to represent Edwards Insurance Brokers at the ROC Your World conference.

The event was run and hosted by Redeeming Our Communities at their headquarters – The Fuse, where the key speaker for the day was Director of Mission for the Evangelical Alliance, Gavin Calver. He spoke about the theme of the conference: Game Changers – also the title of his book about “Encountering God and changing the world”.

Redeeming Our Communities’ aim is to bring about community transformation by creating strategic partnerships between statutory agencies, voluntary groups and churches. These partnerships form new volunteer-led projects that address a variety of social needs.

Edwards Insurance Brokers are delighted to insure ROC Head Quarters and are now working to assist the various ROC projects throughout the UK.

I found it an insightful day, it was so exciting to see the amazing work being carried out by ROC projects striving to improve communities throughout the UK.
